Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

2 min read

Someone phished your password. A data breach exposed your credentials. A hacker is trying random password combinations. With 2FA enabled, none of that matters - they still can't get in without the code from your phone.

Enabling 2FA

Click My Profile in the sidebar. Scroll to the Two-Factor Authentication section. Click Enable 2FA. Enter your password when prompted.

Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password) and scan the QR code shown on screen.

Enter the 6-digit code from your app (changes every 30 seconds). Save your backup codes.

Warning

Save your backup codes! They're the only way to access your account if you lose your phone or authenticator.
